Brown County Bikes Brown County Bikes Rental Norco Torrent HT Small
$75.00
Please email or call to make a reservation on bike rentals. browncountybikes@gmail.com 812-200-1115 Read over our rental agreement and liability wavier here. Using Norco's holistic approach to fit and geometry, the Torrent S1’s unique combination of our next generation of Gravity Tune, longer reach, slacker head tube angle?and steep seat tube angle provides a more forward weight distribution within a longer wheelbase. This allows more powerful pedaling, increased climbing traction and added grip and control when descending. To go along with the basic theme of the butted chromoly frame, we spec’d the Torrent S1 with a Shimano XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain. We also gave it some real big bike credibility with a 150mm RockShox Lyrik Ultimate RC2 fork, a burly Praxis Cadet M30 crankset, and robust Shimano M520 4-piston brakes. Kona Honzo DL
$2,699.00
For the hardtail enthusiast, the Honzo DL is a quintessential bike to have in your quiver. Featuring an aluminum frame with geometry derived from the Process 134 it's ready to rip up and down the trails. A short seat tube allows you to run a longer dropper post, and adjustable dropouts allow you to run the bike geared or as a single speed. Sitting squarely between the Honzo and the Honzo ESD – the Honzo DL is the all-round hardtail for any location. KONA 6061 ALUMINUM Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x148mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted.
Kona Honzo ESD
$3,099.00
If Mad Max rode a bike, it would be the Honzo ESD. It's part Honzo, part monster, and with geometry that inspired the Process X, it's made for those who want to punish the trails. A steel frame holds a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork with 150mm of travel. It's got strong 4-piston brakes, grippy Maxxis rubber, and a headtube badge that will scare your children at night. This is the Warrior of the Wasteland.
Kona Hei Hei
$3,199.00
If you're looking for a bike that is a little bit XC and a little bit rock n' roll, look no further than the Hei Hei. Our Race Light 6061 Aluminum frame has been perfectly designed to be fast and strong. A 120mm fork keeps things controlled on the front end while the rear shock provides 100mm of travel and keeps the back end in check. A 12-speed drivetrain is the perfect complement to powerful hydraulic disc brakes and keeps the Hei Hei at the forefront of the most-wanted aluminum XC steeds. For 2017, you'll see the 12x148 Boost standard in the mix. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle. FUSE INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION The Fuse Independent Suspension is designed to be as lightweight and efficient as possible, oriented specifically for the demands of the modern XC trail rider. Like all of our suspension platforms, the Fuse IS is designed around a single pivot with a predictable leverage ratio for a responsive, snappy feel. Built for our Hei Hei platform, the frame features a seat stay that relies on small degrees of frame flex rather than a pivot at the seat and chainstay junction. The result is an efficient, laterally stiff suspension system that takes weight savings to a new level.
Norco Valence A 24
$679.00
On endless stretches of roadway, the Norco Valence A 24 invites your junior to get comfortable for the long haul. Its light and responsive aluminum frame dampens vibration through arcing seat stays, while the oversized downtube, bottom bracket shell, and broad chainstays efficiently transmit rider input for explosive acceleration. Adding to the lively feel is a tapered head tube mated to a carbon-bladed fork for stable tracking and extra vibration reduction. The Valence A 24-inch bike is designed for young riders with its scaled-down sizing and reliable drivetrain components from Shimano. The lightweight double-wall aluminum wheelset, wrapped in Kenda Kontender 24-inch x 25mm tires, offers stout protection on pavement or gravel, and contact points are finished in Norco's own blend of sporty junior-sized components for a great fit.

Norco Revolver FS 2 100
$4,799.00
We re-examined everything we know about XC performance and geometry, and by employing Ride Aligned technology, created the Revolver FS 100; the pinnacle of modern XC performance. The Revolver FS 120 benefits from the same stiff, lightweight chassis, but is specially-designed with a longer stroke rear shock and 120mm XC fork – creating a geometry specifically designed for larger than life rides where you don't have the time to pick the smoothest line – because there's a finish line to cross – in reality or your imagination. - Full Carbon 100mm Frame - 12x148mm - XC Race Geometry with Gravity Tune - Custom Tuned RockShox Rear Suspension - Ride Aligned - New RockShox SID SL Select w/TwistLoc Remote - New RockShox SIDLuxe Select+ RLR 100mm w/Remote - Custom Norco Dropper lever - Tubeless ready w/Stan's tape, valves and sealant - SRAM G2 R 4 Piston Brakes RIDER BENEFITS: - POWER TO THE WIN: The Revolver FS's Ride Aligned XC design features a low, forward riding position for powerful, efficient pedaling, maximum traction, and a front end that stays on the ground when the going gets steep, so you're in control of where you go, and how fast you get there. - REDUCED FATIGUE: Shifting the rider's center of gravity for optimum weight distribution within the Revolver FS 100's wheelbase, riders are able to navigate every aspect of a race course from an optimal position. The fine-tuned Ride Aligned XC design provides increased grip and support when the rider is seated and powering through undulating terrain, which greatly-reduces fatigue by minimizing the need for weight shifts throughout the race. - STIFFER, FASTER FRAME CONSTRUCTION: The Revolver FS has been designed with a fine-tuned carbon frame to optimize pedaling efficiency. We engineered the downtube, bottom bracket and chainstay junctions to provide a 40% increase in axial rigidity, ensuring every available Watt you throw down is translated into forward motion. - OPTIMIZED SUSPENSION DESIGN: The Revolver FS is designed to excel on a wide variety of terrain. The Ride Aligned suspension kinematics maintain incredible traction both climbing and descending and provides an efficient pedaling platform without having to reach for a lockout, while tracking precisely through rough descents. By employing the Ride Aligned Bike Setup App, your suspension sets up quickly and precisely. - UNCOMPROMISED DESCENTS: In addition to the pedaling prowess of the new Revolver FS, we wanted to be sure it would charge descents – not just survive them. So, we designed the FS 100 with a 68.5 degree head angle and a 60mm stem. The 120 is a degree slacker which, when combined with the Revolver chassis' frame stiffness, 120mm dropper post and 2.35" tires, provides a level of precision and confidence on descents that will leave competitors in your wake.

$569.99
Buying a bike for your child can be daunting—that's why we developed the Zuma range to make it easier. Based on the concept of a kid-sized MTB bike, the Zuma bikes are incredibly lightweight. They feature a carefully researched geometry and are designed specifically around smaller riders as the perfect balance between a bike for a child to learn the basics on and a more advanced MTB for off-road riding conditions and weekend rides with the parents. These carefully spec'd bikes feature a super lightweight alloy frame and fork with double-wall rims and children's-specific aftermarket components from Promax, KMC, FSA, Vee Rubber, and Satori, making them suit the rider's size perfectly while keeping the look, feel, and ride of a high-end, full adult size MTB. Children are the future, and the Zuma line is designed to give them the best possible start for that future.
Ritchey Swiss Cross Canti Frameset
$1,299.00
Many Ritchey-sponsored mountain bike champions were also cyclocross champions—Thomas Frischknecht, Henrik Djernis and Ruthie Matthes, to name a few. And though they were paid to race Ritchey mountain bikes, they often wanted a Ritchey cyclocross bike to race in the winter. This ultimately resulted in another iconic Ritchey model—the Swiss Cross. Now the Swiss Cross is back, and better than ever. We started with the same forged-and-machined integrated head tube design found on the P-29er—80 grams lighter than a standard 1-1/8" head tube and just as strong—a design which also provides much-needed shouldering room at the head tube. Tubing is an all-new triple-butted, heat treated steel designed to Tom's specifications for a classically lightweight, compliant, yet tough-as-nails frame. Geometry has been updated to reflect what 'cross riders want: race-ready handling and responsiveness that's still versatile enough to serve as a capable all-around rough road/trail bike. Tire clearance? Plenty. The Swiss Cross is designed with 'cross racing in mind, after all. But with two bottle cage mounts, the Swiss Cross is perfect for long mixed rides in the off-season. - Painted-to-match Ritchey WCS Cross fork and WCS integrated headset included - Bottom Bracket: 68mm English threaded - Front Derailleur Clamp: 28.6mm (Caution: Front derailleur clamp MAX torque of 2.5Nm) - Headset: WCS integrated drop-in 41.8 (included) - 130mm rear spacing - Weight: 1941g / 4.28lbs (55cm, frame only) - Sold as frameset only
Ritchey Road Logic Disc Frameset
$1,499.00
The new Ritchey Road Logic Disc delivers the same amazing ride experience that the bike is known for but adds the stopping power and control of disc brakes. Steeped with more than 40 years of frame-building heritage, innovation, exploration, and lots of riding, the classic lines of this beautiful steel frame and carbon fiber fork unite with modern building techniques and proven materials to deliver a contemporary bicycle that’s wonderfully comfortable for long days in the saddle, nimble and stiff enough to win the sprint for that sign, and adequately adaptable to endure roads that might lack proper pavement. The frame is built with a heat-treated and triple-butted proprietary Ritchey Logic tube set and features a straight headtube and aggressively short-butted sections optimized for TIG welding that save weight and improve ride quality. The tried and true specs on the frame remain unchanged but now sport a redesigned chainstay for flat-mount disc brake compatibility, thru-axles in the front and rear, and a new fork designed specifically for the Road Logic Disc. - Material: heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic steel tubing—TIG welded - Ultra-light forged and machined straight 1-1/8" headtube - WCS headset included (upper IS42/28.6 - 16mm stack height | lower IS42/30) - 142mm spacing (12mm alloy thru-axle included) - Replaceable stainless-steel derailleur hanger - 27.2mm seat tube with integrated seat collar (max torque setting: 6Nm) - Front derailleur clamp size: 28.6mm (max torque setting: 2.5Nm) - not included - Bottom bracket: 68mm - English threaded - Can accommodate 1X or 2X chainrings - Crankset min/max ring size - single: 36 to 50t / double: 46/30t to 53/39t - External cable routing - Bottle mounts: 2 - Ritchey WCS Carbon Disc Road Fork included
