Celebrate 10 Years of Adventure at Campside Sessions Women's Mountain Bike Camp
September 18–20 | Brown County State Park
For the last decade, Campside Sessions has been about so much more than learning how to ride a mountain bike. It's about building confidence, finding your people, challenging yourself, laughing around the campfire, and leaving with friendships that last long after the weekend ends.
This year is especially exciting as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Campside Sessions Women's Mountain Bike Camp, and we can't wait to welcome riders from across the country to beautiful Brown County State Park for an unforgettable weekend of riding, learning, and community.
Whether you're brand new to mountain biking or an experienced rider looking to sharpen your skills, this weekend is designed to meet you where you are. Our incredible team of women coaches—some of the best mountain bike instructors from across the United States—will help you become a stronger, more confident rider in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Friday: Welcome to Camp!
The weekend kicks off Friday evening with check-in at Brown County Bikes.
After everyone gets settled, we'll head out for an optional casual ride on one of Brown County's beginner-friendly trails—the perfect opportunity to loosen up, meet fellow campers, and get excited for the weekend ahead.
Then we'll settle in for what Campside Sessions is known for: relaxing around the fire, listening to live music, sharing stories, and making new friends.
New for our 10th Anniversary!
We're thrilled to announce that our campsite is located inside the North Gate entrance of Brown County State Park, right near the pool parking lot. Even better? Camping is included with your registration! It's the perfect home base for a weekend filled with mountain biking and community.
Saturday: Learn. Ride. Grow.
Saturday begins with an optional morning yoga session to stretch out and prepare for the day.
After breakfast (included with the meal plan), we'll divide riders into small coaching groups based on skill level. This personalized approach allows every participant to receive instruction that's appropriate for their experience and goals.
Throughout the morning you'll work on:
-
Cornering
-
Braking
-
Climbing
-
Descending
-
Body position
-
Confidence-building techniques
-
Trail awareness
Then comes the best part.
After lunch, we'll hit the trails and immediately apply everything you've learned with your coaches guiding you every step of the way. There's no better classroom than the incredible trail system at Brown County State Park.
Back at camp, the fun continues with:
-
Dinner (meal plan participants)
-
Awesome raffle prizes
-
Bike maintenance workshop
-
Campfire conversations
-
Inspiring stories from women riders
-
Plenty of laughs before turning in for the night
Sunday: One More Ride Together
Sunday starts much like Saturday—with optional yoga, breakfast, and another coaching session.
Then it's back to the trails for one last adventure together.
By the time the weekend wraps up with a late lunch, packed vehicles, high-fives, hugs, and promises to ride together again, you'll leave with more than improved mountain bike skills.
You'll leave with newfound confidence, unforgettable memories, and a community of women cheering you on long after camp ends.
New This Year: Ride Without the Skills Sessions
Want to experience the community and enjoy riding all weekend, but don't feel like participating in the coaching sessions?
We've got you covered.
For the first time ever, you can register to simply ride with the group for the weekend and enjoy the Campside Sessions experience without attending the formal skills clinics.
It's another way we're making camp accessible for every rider.
Need a Bike?
No mountain bike? No problem.
Rental bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you'll need one, please contact us at 812-200-1115 or browncountybikes@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can reserve a bike for you before they're gone.
Meal Plan
If you purchased the meal plan, your meals throughout the weekend are included for Saturday (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and Sunday (breakfast and lunch) so you can spend less time worrying about food and more time riding, learning, and connecting with new friends.
Why Campside Sessions?
People often come to Campside Sessions hoping to become better mountain bikers.
They leave with so much more.
They leave believing they can tackle trails they never imagined riding. They discover that it's okay to challenge themselves. They find a welcoming community of women who celebrate every milestone—from riding a first berm to conquering a technical descent.
For ten years, that's been the heart of Campside Sessions.
This September, we'd love for you to become part of that story.
Whether you're coming by yourself or bringing your riding buddies, we'll be waiting around the campfire.
We'll see you in Brown County this September.
