With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the Minion DHR II is Maxxis's rear-specific tire for downhill and enduro riding.
The 3C MaxxTerra compound is an intermediate triple-compound configuration tuned to balance traction, rolling speed, and treadwear — the right call for riders who pedal to the top. The EXO casing adds puncture protection for rocky terrain without the weight of a burlier casing.
Tubeless-ready with a folding bead, this 27.5 x 2.4 DHR II sets up easily for tubeless riding. A classic choice for aggressive trail and enduro riding, it's right at home on the descents at Brown County's trails.
