For riders who want coil sensitivity with air-like support, the Cane Creek Tigon is a standout. It pairs Cane Creek's proven DB Twin Tube damping with RAMP Tube Technology: the main coil spring tracks the ground and grips like a coil, while a tunable air chamber adds the mid-stroke and bottom-out support you would expect from an air shock.

Tuning is straightforward. With a basic shock pump you can add 20-35% more progression than a typical coil shock (30 psi max in the RAMP Tube). A reinforced layout braced by the RAMP Tube also stands up to the side-loading and buckling forces that can harm traditional coil shocks. Adjustments include the RAMP Tube, independent high- and low-speed compression, low-speed rebound, and a 2-position Climb Switch.
