Rental Bikes: Rental bikes are available on a first come first serve basis from local bike shop (owned by the fabulous Danielle and Kate Nolan!!) Brown County Bikes
Rentals will only be allowed for the full weekend (Saturday-Sunday) as opposed to just Saturday or just Sunday
Discounted weekend rentals will be $150.00 for Saturday- Sunday (regular rate $190.00)

FAQ:
I've never ridden a mountain bike or I'm pretty new, can I come?
Absofreakinlutely! We invite ALL levels of riders to come and participate. When you sign up we have you fill out a questionnaire to place you in a group based on your skill level. We have had women start out in the beginner groups and now coming into year 3 we have seen them advance to the higher groups, which is super exciting!
If I need a bike can I rent one?
Yes! See above we're working with none other than the amazing Brown County Bikes!
Do I have to camp with everyone?
No you do not, you can stay wherever you like! We always give that option for people who want to camp on site with us but we are happy to give you other recommendations on places to stay - sometimes there are cabins or rooms on site as well! Guess what you can even stay in the same building as the bike shop - Brown County Bikes, check out Brown County Barn Burner. Contact them for availability because they've blocked rooms for our group!
I'm coming with my friends will I be in the same group as them?
Maybe, maybe not. While you ride with your friends all the time at home you might be best suited to be in a different group as them for our camp. It is important for us to give you the best tools and skills you need to be successful to continue riding more confidently and comfortably. Our coaches and staff are professionally trained through PMBIA or ICP and we have done this for years with in our own businesses and for over 3 years with Campside Sessions. There are times once you are in your group we may move you but we will always discuss this with you first.
I have a strict diet can you accommodate me?
We can cover vegetarian, gluten free. If you have sever allergies or other dietary restrictions we due recommend bringing your own food. While we wish we could accommodate every person's request many times we are in remote locations for our camps and the caterers or food options are very limited.
What is the refund policy?
If you have to cancel first you can always transfer your ticket to another camp within that calendar year. 60 days out full refund after that we do not offer refunds due to paying for permits, insurance, coaches, meals, etc.

Coaches are certified and professionally trained from Bicycle Instructors Certification Program (BICP) and/or Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA).
We'll have free demo bikes from Transition and KONA all weekend long at Hesitation Point in Brown County State Park.
Note you can NOT use a free demo bike for your clinic. These bikes are only for test rides on the trails for the weekend. If you want to rent a bike you can call the shop to reserve a bike from us at 812-200-1115. Thanks!

Wilderness First Aid and CPR class brought to you by Brown County Bikes! We are very excited to be the host of a SOLO Wilderness First Aid Course and CPR training (SOLO certification) taking place in Brown County Indiana.
This is a 16-hour, 2 day, entry level course. It's great for outdoor enthusiasts looking to learn more about wilderness medicine and first aid in the backcountry and anyone looking to feel more safe and confident in the outdoors alone or with a group. Wilderness First Aid (WFA) covers topics ranging from preparation and prevention to assessment and treatment of injuries that may occur in the wilderness. Students will have an opportunity to learn practical skills through hands-on scenarios as well as in a traditional classroom setting.
Cost Includes:
Upon completing and passing the course you will receive your Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Certification through SOLO, this is a 2-year certification, SOLO Wilderness First Aid Course training booklet, accredited teachers from SOLO whom also teach WFA at Indiana University, "in the field" practice, real life scene scenarios for training. The course is both classroom and outdoors and very interactive be ready to participate and learn together with your peers.

Latex or any type of gloves *Gloves will need to be changed with each new physical contact scenario (please bring multiple)
COVID-19 Disclaimer: This wilderness medical training consists of didactic and practical skills. During didactic lessons, students will be separated for their comfort level. Group sizes are smaller to support this. However, where the appropriate assessment of patients requires physically touching a patient, there is always the potential of risk in doing so. We are requesting students take additional precautions by following any CDC guidelines in place during the course. We also require personal protective equipment (PPE) be worn as we would when working on real patients. Students (as patients and rescuers) MUST wear gloves and we recommend wearing a face mask during ANY hands-on work. With these additional requirements, we are working to reduce the risks that are present. In taking the training, you understand the associated risks are similar to coming across a patient in the backcountry.
Brown County Bikes cannot prevent you or your child(ren) from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while participating in our events. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to participate in Brown County Bikes services you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.
Students MUST be asymptomatic of any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms in order to participate in the course. Students should not attend the course if they have been in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19.

Youth Mountain Bike Summer Clinic
Are you wanting to get your child started mountain biking? Or wanting your child to learn how to ride the trails more safely and efficiently?
Join us for the youth mountain bike clinic in Brown County Indiana. With some of the best mountain bike trails in the Midwest there's plenty of reasons to get your kids out on the trails! A great way for your children to learn how to ride more safely is to participate in a clinic so they can learn skills to keep them riding more efficiently, increase their confidence on their bike and have more fun with their family and friends!

Meet your coaches Danielle and Kate Nolan!
Kate has been riding bikes her whole life and began coaching in 2015 through DNK Presents. She is the head coach and started the NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) league here in Brown County. Danielle and Kate both carry their Instructor's Association certification and Wilderness First Aid and CPR. They love to shred and get others, especially kids excited about the sport!
